The NSP-5 EO/IR specializes in geospatial mapping, which takes high-resolution still imagery that can be orthorectified and stitched together to provide updated maps of an imaged area. The NSP-5 EO/IR’s ability to rotate from horizon to horizon and capture off-nadir still imagery adds versatility to how it is used in-flight.
