Primary: Aviation Pilot for IMSAR Aviation. This includes on demand flights and scheduling with required crew members. Must be able to determine if flights are safe in all kinds of weather while following FAA requirements. Must be current on at least 2nd class medical and current on Bi-annual. Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with other pilots and co-workers. Must be able to work with A&P/IA (Airframe and Power plant mechanic / Inspection and Authorization) for upkeep on aircraft and documentation. Must be physically able to hanger aircraft and perform any aviation duties. Location of the aircraft is the Spanish Fork airport. We currently fly two Cessna 172M aircraft.
Secondary: When primary duties are satisfied then a list of other tasks will be provided including other departments also possible. Other duties as required.

BS degree in Aviation Science – professional pilot preferred but not required. Commercial instrument rated pilot with 2nd class medical. 500+ PIC well rounded flight hours. Instructor qualification preferred. Three professional and one personal references required at the interview. References may be contacted during the interview. Required to bring logbook(s) and medical certificate to the job interview.
Essential Mental Functions:
Charisma to promote a productive and task oriented work force. Have a state of mind to be able to deal with flight and ground emergencies calmly and correctly. Have a working knowledge of Aviation Regulations.
Essential Physical Functions and Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in the aircraft. Some light to moderate physical effort required. Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facilities. Travel will be required. Noise level in the work environment can reach moderate to loud. Must meet minimum physical requirements for commercial pilot 2nd class. Able to lift and push 50 lbs in all weather conditions.
